Last week marked my first correct pick of the week, moving my record to 1-3. This week, Texas will beat #8 Baylor at home in Austin to continue my streak. The Longhorns and Charlie Strong are under a lot of pressure. They had a great start to the year, but conference play hasn’t been pretty. However, Baylor, even at #8, is way overrated. They have played absolutely no hard teams this year, and it’s about to become clear. Texas will come out with some passion at home, and they’ll beat their little brothers from Waco.
There are some other games today that have the makings of possible upsets. I’m not necessarily picking them, but just saying to look out for them. #13 Boise State heads to Laramie to face Wyoming, Florida and Georgia meet in their annual rivalry game in Jacksonville, and Georgia will give #14 Florida some issues. In what might be the best game of the week, #4 Washington travels to Salt Lake City to play #17 Utah in a raucous environment, and #2 Michigan matches up against bitter rival Michigan State. Be prepared, as this week could shape up to be full of upsets.
