Tough night

The Orioles once again were close to being no hit. For the 3rd time this year they’ve been no hit through 5 innings They’ve sure made people nervous. Well after that, they found away even through Ubaldo Jimenez’s struggles and their lack of hitting, they had a 3-1 in the 9th. They were an out away from stealing a win in the Bronx, and being 2.5 games out of first and tied with the Yankees. Well it didn’t end that way. Zach Britton blew his second save of the year and gave up a 3 run homer to Carlos Beltran to lose the game. It was devastating to lose, and it brought out the worst thoughts in all O’s fans, but the O’sare still are only 3.5 games from first and 2 games back of the Yanks. They have yet to go on a long winning streak and they must be due. Plus with plenty of games left vs Toronto and New York, they have a great chance to end up winning the East for the first time since 1997.
