This season, I’ve gotten the incredible opportunity to interview all 12 seniors on the Alamo Heights Mules Varsity team. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know each and every one of them and sharing our conversations with the community. After publishing their responses throughout the season, I wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for a great year!
Thank you Coach Thompson for letting me create and carry out the Senior Spotlights. Not a lot of coaches would allow so much insight into their team, and you were always so open and flexible with the interviews and my involvement with the team.
Thank you seniors for the amazing conversations we had after practice, at lunch or early in the morning before school. All of you guys were great to speak to and made for fun and interesting interviews. I hope you enjoyed your spotlight and will look back on them in the future!
Finally, thank you everyone who read my articles all season. There’s nothing better for a writer than to hear that people read and enjoy their work, so I greatly appreciate the time taken to read the articles and the kind words I received from parents at the field about the interviews.
