With only two days left in this baseball regular season, there is much still to be determined. Kansas City, after clinching their first playoff berth since 1985, still has a chance to win the American League Central, and send Detroit to a Wild Card game. Pittsburgh has that same chance, as they can catch St Louis for the National League Central crown. Depending on what happens with those two scenarios, the AL Wild Card will include Kansas City/Detroit vs either Oakland, or possibly Seattle. In the NL, the Wild Card game will be Pittsburgh/St. Louis vs San Francisco. The Angels and Nationals will have the 1 seed in the Al and NL respectively, while the Orioles and Dodgers will have the 2 seed.
These last two days should provide great drama. Let’s see how it turns out, as the hunt for October comes to a close
