The Orioles brought their bats to Yankee Stadium today as they broke out for 6 home runs all coming off of 4 home runs. Adam Jones, Nelson Cruz, JJ Hardy (yes he hit one finally) and of course president Steve Pearce provided the offense for the O’s. A great sign that Hardy finally broke out of his slump. Hopefully now that he got his first, he will get on a roll. Bud Norris had to exit the game with an apparent injury. It doesn’t appear to be serious just taken out with caution. The O’s go for a tough series win against Masahiro Tanaka tomorrow afternoon. The Orioles picked up a game on Toronto and New York and now sit 2.5 games out of first place.
