The match ups for the Al, and NLCS are set. Beginning on Friday in Baltimore, the Kansas City Royals face the Baltimore Orioles. Both teams are coming off a sweep, and both teams have two of the longest World Series droughts. The Royals are looking for their first trip to the Fall Classic since 1985, while the Orioles haven’t been there since 1983. One way or another, a drought will end for a baseball driven city.
In the National League, the St Louis Cardinals will face the San Francisco Giants. Well that’s not news. The Cardinals and Giants have made it consistently over the last 5 years to the NLCS. Both teams are used to being here, and both teams are hungry for more. It should be a great match up, as both teams pulled off upsets in the 1st round.
These last four teams left, are certainly the best teams in baseball. Both the ALCS, and NLCS should be a lot of fun, and the fun begins Friday night in Baltimore, Maryland. Camden Yards will be rocking! Let the fun begin.
