Monday night in Indianapolis was a milestone night for Coach Gregg Popovich and his San Antonio Spurs. A Marco Belinelli game winning jump shot with two seconds left gave Coach Popovich his 1000th career victory. All his wins have come with the San Antonio Spurs. Quite a feat, considering through his time here, while it’s been a team with no one star, the same big three have been with him almost his whole time here. He and Tim Duncan have the second most wins in NBA history as a coach and player duo. A proud franchise and a proud city has a future Hall of Fame coach to call their own. Congrats Coach Pop.
