Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer is serving a three game suspension, but the Buckeyes have yet to be hurt by his absence, as they’ve played two home gimme games against inferior opponents. Tonight, however, the 4th ranked Buckeyes will meet their match. They travel to Arlington to face the #15 TCU Horned Frogs in a “neutral” sight game about 18 miles from TCU’s campus. The Horned Frogs are a well coached team under Head Coach Gary Patterson, and they’ll be ready for the Buckeyes. I expect TCU to upset Ohio State inside a purple AT&T Stadium tonight.
Another game to look out for is #1 Alabama visiting Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide are playing extremely well, and they have a stellar offense this year, but they always seem to struggle with the Rebels, especially in Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss has defeated Alabama twice in the past four years. My official upset pick is TCU, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ole Miss defeat Alabama. One thing is certain: Alabama will not cover their 23 point spread. It will be a much closer game than that.
